Carla began her real estate career while still in college, working in corporate and residential finance. She later founded her own real estate investment firm and mortgage company and became a partner in a development company specializing in the remodeling and restoration of homes throughout the San Gabriel Valley. This diverse foundation across finance, investment, and development gives her clients a uniquely comprehensive perspective when navigating complex transactions.

Today, Carla specializes in luxury residential sales and is certified in Trust and Probate transactions. She is highly skilled in navigating complex negotiations, including divorce and litigation-related sales, and works closely with an extensive network of attorneys and financial professionals to ensure seamless, strategic outcomes for her clients.

Distinguished by her hands-on approach, Carla created The Buigues Concierge Service, a comprehensive program that assesses, prepares, and maximizes a property's value and return on investment. Whether guiding buyers toward homeownership or representing sellers of significant assets, she educates, advocates, and negotiates with precision to protect and elevate her clients’ greatest financial investments.

Born in Argentina and immigrating to the United States at 14, Carla’s life story reflects resilience, determination, and a global perspective. A devoted mother of two thriving young adults, she is also a committed community leader and philanthropist. She has served as President of the Pasadena Fire Foundation, Legacy Member and former Co-Chair of Leadership Pasadena’s Board of Directors, committee member of WIN at the NAACP Pasadena Chapter, and sponsor of the Pasadena Bar Association. Her nonprofit leadership also includes service with TEDxPasadena, the AIDS Service Center, PPPSGV, and international volunteer work with PanAmerican Health Services in Honduras and Finding Sophia in Tecate, Mexico. In recognition of her impact, she was honored as a 2022 YWCA Heart & Excellence Award recipient.

A world traveler, CrossFit athlete, yogi, and avid reader, Carla also mentors others through her speaker series on resilience and is a founding member of the Sacred Women’s Collective.
