Christopher Lakkees

Chris Lakkees is a consultant and advisor for Christie's exclusive arts, auctions, and luxury estates group in Southern California. Working alongside Marshall Peck in their Beverly Hills office, they represent clients who appreciate the arts, expression, and the joy of living, including John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, and many more.

From an early age, Chris has been captivated by artistry, craftsmanship, cutting-edge design, architectural innovation, and unique locations—qualities he passionately shares with his clients. Chris is regarded for his profound understanding of these elements, enabling him to craft experiences that engage the senses, enhance well-being, and fulfill even the most unspoken desires and needs. His unwavering dedication to client satisfaction is at the heart of his approach, ensuring that every transaction is managed with the highest level of sophistication and meticulous attention to detail.

Chris’s career began in luxury and hospitality as a Communications Manager with the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, honing his skills in the art of service excellence. In 2002, he introduced the iconic Jimmy Choo brand to the U.S. market through its retail and marketing divisions, working closely with its founders. Chris holds an MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business, a globally recognized top 10 program. Over the past decade, Chris has specialized in executive management consulting, mortgage banking, and real estate development. As an executive vice president for a major California builder, he led luxury hotel and multifamily projects with a focus on prefabrication and sustainability. His efforts included reducing waste and carbon emissions, improving fire and seismic safety, and cutting build times and costs by up to 50%.

Currently, Chris is consulting on a climate change documentary feature with two-time Oscar-winning director Malcolm Clarke, the European Principality of Monaco, global A-list talent, and the World Bank's Connect4Climate initiative. This project, nominated for the EarthShot Prize by HRH Prince William of Wales, reflects his commitment to advancing modern construction practices. In addition to his work in real estate and consulting, Chris has produced award-winning films that have generated over 15 million dollars for philanthropic initiatives supporting women’s and children’s causes. His films have influenced legislation and been screened before the U.S. Congress, the United Nations, and international parliaments.
